Getting listed on Quartermaster starts with a personal referral from a customer you have worked for. We then verify your credentials before you’re active on the platform.

You are charged a small commission and transaction fee on all projects you win and complete through Quartermaster. However, work for existing clients you bring with you to the platform will always be commission-free.

You never pay to bring your own customers to Quartermaster. We only charge a commission when we introduce you to a new customer through the platform. As you continue working with that homeowner, the commission gradually decreases over time — rewarding long-term relationships instead of one-time transactions.

Yes. Your base commission fees and payment processing fees are separate. Payment processing is processed directly on Stripe, with a 2.9% +$0.35 per transaction fee.

You can find the commission for each job in the project details before and during the completion. You will also see it in your financial tab once the payment is completed.

Your public profile will show the details homeowners need when deciding on whether to book you for a job, including: 

• Your trade and the areas you cover

• Verified credentials and insurance

• Referrals and reviews from past jobs

Yes, you can pause at any time if you are fully booked. Your referrals stay attached to your profile.

Flag it and we will look at both sides. Get in touch with the job reference and we will pick it up. with the job reference number, and we will investigate it ASAP.

No. We put you in front of homeowners already looking for your trade nearby — winning the job is still yours to do.
